Big Mouth 03:34
Big Mouth. Here am I On my own again tonight All the blame Holding righteousness too tight When will I learn? Here I go I'm using words to bruise and doubt All the shame Make the same mistakes again When will I learn to... Keep it shut until it's thought out Say my piece without a big mouth Here I am I'm losing friends to talk about All the same Made my bed will lie again When will I learn to... Keep it shut until it's thought out Say my piece without a big mouth Keep it shut until it's thought out Say my piece without a big mouth Tighten up my lips And try not to sink ships I'll tie down my tongue Just keep things mum When will I learn? Keep it shut until it's thought out Say my piece without a big mouth Keep it shut until it's thought out Say my piece without a big mouth When will I learn?

Consumer 03:32
Consumer. I'll be your way home, I'll be your royal road tripper. I'll be your head lights, I'll be the reason you forget. You consumer, such a user. Go on and take your body and move it. You know sooner, life will moon ya. You say you won't feel like you're a loser. I'll be your pay phone, I'll be the call you'll never get. I'll be here all night, I'll be the meat that you'll regret. You know it ain't my fault, You let the harm in here. You know, ain't my fault, You never bothered to read the rules. I'll be your halo, I'll be the hole in your suitcase. I'll be your whole life, I"ll be the season that you'll detest. You consumer, such a user. Go on and take your body and move it. You know sooner, life will moon ya. Say you won't feel like you're a loser. You know it ain't my fault, You let the harm in here. You know, ain't my fault, You never bothered to read the rules. You know it ain't my fault, You let the harm in here. You know, ain't my fault, That you preferred to play the fool. You consumer, such a user. Go on and take your body and move it. You know sooner, life will moon ya. Say you won't feel like you're a loser.

Mask 04:34
Mask. A week in my skin Wear it like paint Don't make it sound hard Where in my dreams Always the same thing My human remains. My mask will hide what's missing I learn to dance, so pretty Aware, I'm out there. Can't stop my mask from slipping My chance to face what's missing Beware, it's out there. Awaken my plans To live like a saint Stop shaking it off Where in my hands The future has grown old My human remains. A mask will hide what's missing I learn to dance, not pretty Aware, I'm out there. Can't stop my mask from slipping My chance to face what's missing Beware, it's out there. Away from my mind Feed it some time Don't make it sound fake Where are the reins Frightened to change things My human remains. My mask can hide what's missing I learn to dance, so pretty Aware, I'm out there. Can't stop my mask from slipping My chance to face what's missing Beware, it's out there. My mask will hide what's missing, My chance to fake, not living Aware, I'm out there. Can't stop this mask from slipping My chance to take not give in Beware, it's out there. Here I go......

Down 02:50
Down. Another tongue on fire, another learn to leave it out. Another hope for higher, another hurt by raising doubt. Way down you're there, Way down you're all. Another dirt reminder, another line of purple hearts. Another turns to liar, another walks and talks it out. Way down you're there, Way down you're all. We hide from honesty, Our wounds reject and sing. Time like salt will heal, Our wounds infected sing. Way down you're there, Way down you're all.

about

The ‘Shadows and Fog’ EP is hedfog's first release and was written, performed, and recorded by Peter Greasley over a two-year period (2015 – 2017). Mastered by Matthew Gray at Matthew Gray Mastering (2017).

Half of the proceeds from EP sales will be donated to Fresh Start Rescue Inc. freshstartrescue.wixsite.com/freshstart

Cover art is based on the photograph 'Disappearing' by Dirk Duckhorn.

EP reviewed by Seth Shulman - Divide and Conquer - "My favorite track off the album is probably “Down.” This song sounds like he worked right with Trent Reznor making that deep gritty synth riff that powers the whole song through a hypnotizing experience. The arrangement will have you head banging the whole way through I promise anyone reading this." (23rd June,2017)
